When I was designing workshops in the corporate world, I noticed that the most impactful experiences happened when facilitators stopped following the standard playbook and started building from their own foundation - their unique expertise, their delivery style, what they actually wanted participants to experience.

This wasn't my first time rejecting the "supposed to" path. Back in 2015, my wife Noelle and I quit our jobs to travel the world for a year. Very little prior international travel, no guarantee we'd get rehired. Many thought we were crazy. But we designed that year from our foundation - what we actually wanted our life to look like - and it was one of the best decisions we ever made.

So when Noelle asked me in 2023, "So... when ARE we going to do that?" about starting my own business, I applied the same principle. Instead of waiting for the "right" time, I intentionally designed my next step from my foundation: my Design Thinking background, my workshop facilitation experience, and my belief that everyone deserves to build from what's true for them.

That's why it's called Intention Craft - because when you're intentional about building from your foundation rather than copying someone else's, you create something that actually works for you.
